McLaren has won the last two races in Formula 1. In Baku, Oscar Piastri managed to win after a thrilling race, while Lando Norris dominated and cruised to victory at the Marina Bay Street Circuit. There is a break in the F1 calendar, and so the McLaren team has been able to celebrate at the factory.

At the beginning of the season, McLaren was still behind Red Bull Racing, but upgrades enabled the team to turn things around. Meanwhile, McLaren leads the constructors' championship and is 41 points ahead of its rivals.

That is not the only thing, as Norris has also been getting closer to Max Verstappen in the drivers' championship every race since the summer break. The difference between the two currently stands at 52 points, with six race weekends to go.

For now, things are quiet for a while in Formula 1. There are three weekends of rest between the Singapore Grand Prix and the United States Grand Prix. While the staff will be working hard to find even more improvements, the team took some time to celebrate.
