Both Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen have had six wins in the United States, and one of them could take the record this weekend. Formula 1 will return after a one-month break with the race in Austin. The drivers will get another chance to record a race win in the US with the Las Vegas Grand Prix in November.

Hamilton currently has six victories in the United States. The Briton has won the United States Grand Prix six times. His first win on US soil came in 2007 in Indianapolis. He won at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin five times.

Max Verstappen has also won six times in the United States. The Dutchman has won three times at the Circuit of the Americas. He took two of his victories at the Miami Grand Prix, which has been held since 2022. His last victory was in Las Vegas.

Will Verstappen or Hamilton take the record in the United States?

Should one of the two win at the race in Austin, that person will have the most victories in the United States to his name. The race will be held on 20 October. Later in the season, there is another chance to take the record or match it again. This is because the Las Vegas Grand Prix will still be held on 27 November.
