Alexander Albon, a former member of the Red Bull Junior Team, believes the performances from Franco Colapinto and Oliver Bearman will make the team "think again" about the young talents.

Albon has been able to watch Colapinto perform as his teammate at Williams. Colapinto replaced the dismissed Logan Sargeant at the Italian Grand Prix and the Argetine driver has already scored more points than the American did in his entire stint at the team. Elsewhere, Oliver Bearman made his debut for Ferrari at the Saudi Arabia grid and scored points in that race. He then returned to replace Kevin Magnussen in Baku and scored points for Haas.

Is young talent motivating Red Bull?

Speaking to Autosport, former Red Bull driver Albon says these performances have made the Austrian racing team think. "I can imagine the fact that Bearman and Colapinto have done so well, it motivates Red Bull to rethink about the youth."

Since the Singapore Grand Prix, Daniel Ricciardo has been replaced by younster Liam Lawson. The New Zealander will return to F1 in the US and will complete the season for VCARB. Several young drivers will join F1 in 2025. Bearman has a contract at Haas, Andrea Kimi Antonelli will step into Lewis Hamilton's Mercedes and Jack Doohan will become a full-time driver at Alpine. Colapinto has not yet managed to secure a seat for next season.
