Hot Wheels and Formula 1 join forces: Here's what the partnership entails

Formula 1 has announced a licensing partnership with Mattel, Inc., the toy manufacturer that owns Hot Wheels. The 2025 Formula 1 cars will, therefore, be made into a Hot Wheels collection. Fans will be able to collect the 1:64 scale cars.
Special Hot Wheels F1 cars on the way
The collaboration will result in Hot Wheels cars shaped like F1 cars at a scale of 1:64 compared to a real F1 car. Initially, a unique F1 car will be introduced with a special Hot Wheels livery.
The full Hot Wheels range will then come later. This range will include cars from teams and products aimed "at both the sport’s growing young audience and adult collectors". It will be released in 2025.
Reactions to Formula 1 and Hot Wheels partnership
Emily Prazer, Formula 1's Chief Commercial Officer, is delighted with the collaboration with the toy manufacturer: "This exciting collaboration with Mattel will bring together the adrenaline of motor racing and the excitement of toy cars and provide opportunities to see the fine details that go into an F1 car, all in the palm of your hand."
"It’s more than just a partnership; it’s a celebration of speed, creativity and innovation that will bring fans a new way to engage with the sport," she continued.
