Familiar faces Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez presented a new football shirt for Brazilian club Red Bull Bragantino. Red Bull Racing celebrate their 20th anniversary, which is why Brazil's Red Bull Bragantino football club designed a special shirt to congratulate the company's racing team. The Brazilian Grand Prix takes place on November 3, and F1 fans might be spotted in the stands at Interlagos wearing it.

A video from the football club shows Verstappen sitting in a photo booth with his teammate Sergio Perez. The Dutchman still leads the driver's championship and extended his lead by five points over Lando Norris at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin. The gap now sits at 57 points with just five rounds to go. On the other hand, Red Bull is in the midst of a much tighter constructors battle. The Milton Keynes-based team is 40 points behind McLaren, with Ferrari just eight points behind them after they secured victory in Texas. The Mexican Grand Prix is the next race of the upcoming triple header, with the Brazilian Grand Prix capping it off at the start of November.

Red Bull's marketing man, Olly Hughes, described the shirt as an 'iconic' moment which brings two sports together. “The jersey takeover marks an iconic moment in F1 and football history, being the first time an F1 team has collaborated with a football team in this way and bringing together two Red Bull Teams."

"We always make sure the fans are at the heart of what we do, and this collaboration unites Brazil’s incredibly passionate fan base and their love for F1 and football. This is part of our continued celebrations this year, marking 20 years of the Team’s history in the sport and showcasing how we continue to find new and exciting ways to be innovative and cutting-edge both on and off the track," he said.

Red Bull has always been proudly involved in multiple sports. In football, the energy drink company own RB Leipzig, Red Bull Salzburg and Red Bull Bragatino. Next Saturday, Bragantino will play against reigning champions Botafogo, wearing the F1-inspired shirts.
