It is not a big surprise: Sergio Perez will be in the official FIA press conference ahead of the Mexican Grand Prix. In his home country, the Red Bull Racing driver will no doubt be asked about his expectations for Sunday. The issue of whether or not Perez is announcing his retirement will also be discussed; a rumour that has been going around for some time, but Perez denies it himself.

Who will be in the FIA press conference?

Perez is present in the press conference, but Max Verstappen will not be. The Dutchman will speak to the international media in a more informal setting in Red Bull's hospitality. Verstappen is bound to be questioned about his title battle with Lando Norris.

The FIA has not yet announced which other drivers will have to report for the press conference. However, the GPblog already learned, via Ferrari and Haas F1, that Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) and Nico Hulkenberg (Haas) will be present.

The FIA will reveal the remaining names later.
