Ferrari is staging a huge comeback in the Constructors' World Championship. With Max Verstappen finishing P6 in Mexico, and Sergio Perez not even close to the points, the Italian Scuderia has now passed Red Bull in the rankings. Carlos Sainz finished first in Mexico City, and Charles Leclerc finished on the lowest step of the podium.

Ferrari's gap to McLaren, meanwhile, also became bridgeable. Lando Norris finished the race in second, but teammate Oscar Piastri did not progress beyond eighth place. As such, team owner Andrea Stella's team is missing out on precious points in the constructors' championship. Below are the standings.

F1 constructors' standings: McLaren still on top, Ferrari on P2

1. McLaren - 566 points
2. Ferrari - 537 points
3. Red Bull Racing - 512 points
4. Mercedes - 366 points
5. Aston Martin - 86 points
6. Haas - 48 points
7. VCARB - 38 points
8. Williams - 17 points
9. Alpine - 14 points
