Gasly and Leclerc reveal rejected creepy request from an F1 fan

Pierre Gasly has revealed he received a frankly creepy request from a Formula 1 fan, which also involved Charles Leclerc. The two F1 drivers are good friends, having grown up together in the motorsport world.

F1 drivers are some of the most popular stars in sport. Partly thanks to Netflix's Drive to Survive documentary, a younger audience is now interested in Formula 1. This includes the racing itself, but also the stories away from the grid and the celebrity lifestyle some of them lead. They often cannot walk through the paddock without being called for a selfie or an autograph.
Gasly and Leclerc, who both have girlfriends, received a request from a fan wanting to have some sort of relationship with them both. Gasly recalled this story on the JAAQ Jr Show.
"Once, we received a letter with Leclerc, another race driver who is my best friend in the paddock. It was someone that wanted to...have some sort of relationship with both of us. [They said] if you're down for it, just wink at your post-qualifying interview on Sky Sports," Gasly said about the request.
"So I really made sure that both of my eyes were wide open! We had a chat about it because we received exactly the same letter. Sometimes the fans take it very far," Gasly stressed.
Gasly is currently dating Francisca Cerqueria Gomes, while Leclerc is in a relationship with Alexandra Saint Mleux. The couple have a dog called Leo.
