'Sergio Perez's chassis to be replaced for Brazil GP'

Red Bull take action and replace Perez's chassis

Sergio Perez has received a new chassis for the Brazilian Grand Prix weekend. The Red Bull team has also supplied Max Verstappen with a new engine. Red Bull Racing are looking to fight back after dropping to third-place in the Constructors' Championship.

Red Bull will replace Sergio Perez's chassis. In Mexico, Sergio Perez had a terrible weekend. Perez failed to escape Q1, had a blunder on the grid by starting too far forward. During the race, he picked up damage with Liam Lawson and then picked up damage. He finished last.

Perez's performance hasn't been strong for most of the season. He is contracted to drive for Red Bull in 2025, but there is serious doubt surrounding his future.

New chassis for Perez

Red Bull decided to replace Perez's chassis before the Brazilian Grand Prix to improve performance. It is not said to be a new chassis but one that Perez has used before.
