Norris fed up with championship battle questions about Verstappen: 'Don't care!'
Lando Norris has finished in second place in Sprint Qualifying, but ahead of his title rival Max Verstappen. Following SQ3, the Briton reacted to his performance, but underlined he doesn't care about the questions related to his rival, Max Verstappen.
"I think a big improvement compared to where we were earlier today. We were struggling a lot. I'm a little bit surprised that we were so quick today, but a pleasant one of course. I feel like I’ve made too many mistakes on my final lap and then I just boxed. I wasn't expecting it, so a pleasant surprise," the McLaren driver told F1TV following the session, where he finished in P2 behind Oscar Piastri.
"Tomorrow's a completely different day, so we'll see. We definitely made some good steps forward. Happy with today, but we'll see how it goes tomorrow," he then continued about what he expects from the rest of the weekend.
Norris fed up with questions about championship
In SQ3, Norris could finish two places ahead of Max Verstappen. When asked about what today's result could mean for the Sprint where the Briton could gain points on his rival, he was not happy. "I don't care. I hate this question so much. I don't care about where he qualifies, for me it's just because of my own job and that's it, it's just the same question every time, it doesn't matter, I don't know, if he's first, if he's last, I'll do the best I can," he explained.
