Brazil GP chaos Norris Hamilton to stewards for start

Chaos doesn't end: Norris and Hamilton to the stewards among others

3 November at 18:30

The brilliant Brazilian Grand Prix has finished with Max Verstappen's statement victory, but the results are not yet official. That is because in total, seven drivers are investigated by the stewards for several different reasons at Interlagos.

Start infringements

After Lance Stroll parked his Aston Martin in the gravel on the formation lap, race control decided that the start has been aborted. However, four drivers are the front, Lando Norris, George Russell and the two VCARB drivers, Yuki Tsunoda and Liam Lawson began another lap when the lights were still yellow.

The stewards noted the incident, and communicated during the Grand Prix that the verdict will be given after the Grand Prix.

Mercedes changing tyre pressure

Russell and Lewis Hamilton are investigated as well, as the stewards also communicated that their team, Mercedes, have changed tyre pressures on the grid after the race start was aborted.

Drivers who did not finish the Grand Prix

Carlos Sainz will have to report to the stewards for driving erratically during the Grand Prix. After Nico Hulkenberg was given the black flag as he was helped by the marshalls to get back to the track, he will also have to make an appearance.
