The start of the Brazilian Grand Prix was very chaotic due to a crash by Lance Stroll on the formation lap. Lando Norris has to report to the stewards after the race for for this 'aborted start incident' today.

Despite the track being quite wet, the formation lap got underway as scheduled. However, it did not take long for the first car to crash. Lance Stroll damaged his front wing first, and then ended up in the gravel.

Then there was confusion among the drivers about what is next according to the rules. All drivers stood still on the grid after which Lando Norris decided to begin a second formation lap. Several drivers followed him, including George Russell and two VCARBs, but the yellow lights were still on at that point. They will also have to go to the stewards.

For this incident, Norris will have to report to the stewards at 17:30 local time (20:30 GMT / 21:30 CET). It is highly likely that more drivers will have to report for this same incident tonight.
