Nico Rosberg is enjoying the feud between Max Verstappen and George Russell. He is watching it unravel with keen interest. While he can sit back and watch the drama unfold, Rosberg knows how it feels to be inside Formula 1 drama.

Verstappen and Russell have been at each other's throats since last Saturday, which has now led to public altercations. Verstappen has said he lost respect for Russell, and vice versa. Russell has also said that the reigning world champion definitely crossed the line.

All that's missing is they get their fists out! It's very thrilling to watch. From the inside, it's horrible because it's so consuming". Rosberg knows a thing or two about drama as during the 2016 season, he and teammate Lewis Hamilton faced their own issues. "The team get involved, the team bosses start fighting, even Toto Wolff, Christian Horner got into a renewed fight about this. Your family gets involved, so internally it's incredibly intense and stressful."

Rosberg raced against Verstappen for one season in 2016. He knows what Verstappen is like. "You've got Max, the street fighter, who thinks he's the King now, a little bit above the law, and George, who the Dutchman says 'he needs to go back in his pram and give him a toy. '" Not wanting to take sides, Rosberg said, "So you have those both sides. It's great to watch, and I think it's 50-50."

Praise for Russell

"I think it’s just George really wanting to stand up and hold his ground, which for me looks strong on him, because he’s really sticking to his line, standing up to Max." Rosberg continued. "We know Max always goes to the grey area and beyond. Max is incredibly aggressive in everything, and I think it’s great to see George really standing his ground there."
