Verstappen points to media
Verstappen admitted that “Lando and McLaren were very strong" and that despite how they "often clash", they "are friends".
"But it's not kindergarten out there and things get tough sometimes. The media always showed that we had problems with each other that we never had.” Verstappen knows how to settle his issues on and off the track and spoke about how sometimes words just get away from the drivers.
In an interview with Viaplay, he spoke about being friends with Norris. He also mentioned how emotions run high sometimes and that after a race isn't the best time for cameras to film them.
