Verstappen hints at future wedding plans with Kelly
Max Verstappen has been with Kelly Piquet for a few years. The two are now also expecting their first child. However, things regarding wedding plans for the couple are rather quiet. Speaking to Blick, Verstappen has shared an update on the topic.
Kelly can regularly be found in the Formula 1 paddock to support the Dutchman. For example, she was there in Abu Dhabi in 2021, when Verstappen took his first world title. She was there regularly again this year and was even accompanied by her daughter, Penelope, to several race weekends.
Are Verstappen and Kelly Piquet getting married?
The two are also expecting a child together. During the last race weekend of 2024 in Abu Dhabi, the two announced that they were expecting their first baby together, to which the Formula 1 world reacted with predictions of a champion's future for the child, since they will Verstappen's and his father in law, Nelson Piquet's racing genes, both of whom have achieved a tally of 7 F1 world championships combined.
No word yet on wedding plans, but we won't have to wait long for that if Verstappen according to the Dutchman who had this to say on the couple's future: "Not yet, but it will probably happen soon."
