While it is still more than two months until the Formula One season gets underway in Melbourne, Australia, Max Verstappen will compete in his first race of the season. The Dutchman will drive on the virtual track of Daytona.
As drivers are already preparing for the upcoming season, Max Verstappen is also sitting back in the simulator in his house. Namely, the defending F1 world champion will be in action on Sunday night, competing in the IMSA Esports Global Championship final at the Daytona circuit.
The Red Bull Racing driver is a wildcard entry, and will compete alongside Gustavo Ariel in the #27 Acura Arx-06 Lmdh for Verstappen.com Racing. The livestream hosted by Team Redline, Verstappen's sim racing team, starts at 18:30 GMT / 19:30 CET.
It is not the first time Verstappen has driven on Daytona's virtual circuit. In fact, at the beginning of 2024, the Dutchman competed in the 24 Hours of Daytona. That time, the Red Bull driver and his team finished in eighth position.
