"It's hard to choose. First of all, I don't remember all of them but I think my first race win was very emotional. Then at the same time, winning your first championship, you know, these kind of milestones are of course incredibly important, so they have to be one of your favorite races," Verstappen explained to viewers.
The iconic race at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya will be well remembered by many Formula One fans. Yet Verstappen says he also finds it special to win a race with a big lead, as he told the livestream before he started racing. Nevertheless he also mentions a recent race from last season.
Verstappen on more recent races in Formula 1
"Winning a race by like 30 seconds, which I think (we did) in Hungary, maybe. In Austria as well. When everything is just going really well - the whole weekend, that can be also really enjoyable. And of course we cannot forget Brazil because that was just incredibly important at that stage of the season," the Dutchman concluded.
The Brazilian Grand Prix was an incredibly successful race for Verstappen. The Red Bull Racing driver drove from P17 all the way to first place. He dealt a huge blow in the drivers' championship at the time, leaving Lando Norris, his biggest rival, virtually hopeless.
