Verstappen hints at F1 helmet in 2025

Max Verstappen has sported various helmet designs throughout his career, often changing up the look for special occasions. In recent years, he’s favoured a predominantly white helmet, featuring his signature Dutch lion logo. Additionally, he frequently uses unique helmets for races that hold personal significance, like his home Grand Prix at Zandvoort, the Belgian GP at Spa-Francorchamps, and the Brazilian GP.

Asked about his favourite helmet design, Verstappen hints at the helmet he will use in 2025. “Well, the one I grew up driving in, and then I think actually the one that I used last year. It will be similar this year, a little bit different, but it's just my own design. It's quite basic. I just went back to a bit more like traditional old school kind of livery, which I enjoy more.” Verstappen said during a Team Redline livestream on Twitch.

During a live stream of the virtual 24 Hours of Daytona, the Dutchman answered several fan questions. He revealed the name of his new dachshund, shared his best F1 race experience, and discussed how he handles the added pressure from stronger competition in the sport. When asked what advice he would give his younger self with the benefit of today’s knowledge, Verstappen reflected thoughtfully on his journey.
