Williams confirms filming day in Bahrain

Formula 1 teams are allowed to host two filming days a year. This year, Williams has decided to join Aston Martin and Mercedes in filming just before the pre-season testing in Bahrain. This will give their newest member, Carlos Sainz, an opportunity to experience the new car with new teammate Alex Albon. Most teams use this time as a "shakedown' meaning the teams are allowed to get a feel of the car and see if anything needs fixing. Other teams will also be using one of their filming days before the start of the season. Ferrari has already announced that they will be filming on 19 February, while Alpine has mentioned using a filming day but has not confirmed any details. Pre-season testing begins on 26 February and lasts for three days, until the 28th.
