Lawson crowns Verstappen the paddock's 'worst loser'
- Kimberley Hoefnagel
Liam Lawson may call himself Max Verstappen's teammate at Red Bull Racing next season. The big question, of course, is whether Lawson will be able to keep up with Verstappen's pace, or whether he will lose out. In an interview with ESPN, Lawson revealed that he is incredibly competitive and named Verstappen the "worst loser" in the paddock.
ESPN recently interviewed Lawson at the Red Bull factory in Milton Keynes and put the young driver to the test. In a Q&A, the New Zealander had to match drivers with a specific attribute. Thus, Lewis Hamilton was crowned the driver with the best AND worst outfits in the paddock. Yuki Tsunoda was singled out as the driver with the most energy and the worst temper.
Worst loser
On the question of who is the worst loser in the paddock, Lawson did not have to think long. "Verstappen," he responded immediately. Fortunately, his new teammate also was given some good traits. For instance, Verstappen is also the most relaxed driver and the driver with the best aura, according to the Kiwi. In the end, the 22-year-old was also asked who is the most competitive driver on the grid, to which he responded, "Can I say myself?"
