This F1 driver to play a role in a new Netflix film
The new Formula 1 film that will feature Brad Pitt, produced by Lewis Hamilton, is set to be released in 2025, with the film also featuring real Formula 1 drivers. However, there is one driver who will be featured in another film before that is released to the world.
2024 saw a lot of filming take place in the paddock for the film 'F1', starting the world-renowned Hollywood actor Brad Pitt, along with many drivers on the grid. However, that will not come out until 25 June 2025 in the UK.
F1 driver to be seen in Netflix film
But if you want to see a Formula 1 star on your screens, there will be a movie that has that this month. Esteban Ocon has a role in the French Netflix film, 'Lune de miel avec ma mère', or 'Honeymoon with my mother' in English.
The film is about a man, Lucas, who is dumped by his fiancée a few days before his wedding. The honeymoon has already been paid for on the other side of the world, which he can no longer avoid. Instead of taking his fiancée with him, he takes his mother, Marianne.
Ocon plays the role of the man who 'steals' Lucas' fiancée, resulting in the cancellation of the wedding. In a snippet of the film, the Haas driver can be seen lifting up the fiancée and then driving away in a red sports car. The comedy film will be available on French Netflix from 12 February.
