Podium shakeup expected as this iconic brand returns to the celebrations

Formula 1 drivers will once again celebrate on the podium with Moët & Chandon champagne in the coming years. For the past three seasons, they had to settle for Ferrari Trento sparkling wine, but starting from the Australian Grand Prix, traditional champagne will make its return.
Formula 1 is marking its 75th anniversary in style—with champagne. Today, FOM confirmed a new partnership with Moët & Chandon, bringing the iconic brand back to the podium and replacing Ferrari Trento. The move comes as no surprise, following Formula 1’s collaboration with LVMH, announced in late 2024. The luxury group that owns Moët & Chandon.
Formula 1 CEO Domenicali comments on 'special' return
Stefano Domenicali, Formula 1's CEO, welcomed the news: “The tradition of toasting on the podium is one of the most iconic moments in our sport, and we are thrilled to welcome once again Moët & Chandon as the Official Champagne of Formula 1," the Italian began. This partnership celebrates the history, emotion and excellence that bind Formula 1 and Moët & Chandon, in a perfect union of performance and refinement in a truly special year that sees us celebrate our 75th anniversary. The return of Moët & Chandon to the podium strengthens further the bond of our innovative partnership with LVMH, and we cannot wait to toast this extraordinary collaboration together.”
The legendary champagne brand is also delighted to be a part of Formula 1 once again. “We are honoured and excited to return as the Official Champagne of Formula 1, celebrating a shared history of collective triumph and dedication since the 1950s.
