After gaining a fully funded seat in the GB3 series, Abbi Pulling has decided to leave Alpine and work closer with Rodin Cars, with whom she the 2024 F1 Academy championship.

Pulling won the 2024 F1 Academy title driving for Rodin, and up until now, she was also being backed by Alpine F1, and was a member of their young driver academy.

Alpine and Pulling part ways

With Alpine and Rodin Cars, Pulling managed to secure herself a fully funded seat in GB3. On 28 February, however, all three parties decided to announce her Alpine departure and new Rodin Cars ambassador role.

"Following the announcement from Rodin Cars earlier today, Abbi Pulling and her team have decided to pursue other career opportunities, which allow her to become a professional driver, meaning Abbi is no longer part of the Alpine Academy. It has been great to see Abbi’s development and growth throughout her time at the team, which culminated in Abbi winning the F1 Academy title last year, and we look forward to continuing to follow Abbi’s progress. From everyone at BWT Alpine Formula One Team, we wish Abbi every success in the future, not only as a race driver but also a positive role model for young women in sport," Alpine's statement read.

On her new role as Rodin Cars Ambassador, Pulling said, "I'm really excited to extend my relationship with Rodin Cars and become an ambassador for the brand. We have already had some brilliant success together in British F4 and F1 Academy and I can’t wait for what’s to come in this next chapter as I take on GB3 with the team," the young champion concluded.
