Norris reveals dream switch: 'I'd like to go there one day'
F1 News

Lando Norris made his debut with McLaren in Formula 1, and since 2019, he grew together with the team. While the Briton who hopes to win his first F1 title enjoys his time with the Woking-based squads, he did refer to a team he would like to compete for in the future other than McLaren.
Would Norris ever look to compete for a different team? When asked by NBC News, the British driver first said he cannot respond to that, but in the end, he did point to having another team on the list. "I know exactly which one I would love to go to. It is the team that everyone wants to be part of at some point in their career." While he remained mysterious, through the examples of Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel, that team would most likely turn out to be Ferrari.
Still, Norris also underlined he has no interest in making a switch any time soon, and only focuses on his current team. "I’m very happy with McLaren. They brought me into Formula One, and I’ve spent my whole life here pretty much and I’m going to be here for many more years. So I’m excited to stay in papaya and keep fighting for them too."
Alternative sports career for Norris
Like many others on the grid, Norris is very fond of golf. The Briton firmly answered as well that golf would be his go-to sport if he wasn't in Formula 1. "I’m good friends with a lot of the golfers, whether they’re in PGA or trialing and doing different types of tournaments. It’s the sport I enjoy the most outside of Formula One, so, I would probably say if I could re-run things, I would try and be a golfer."
While gold remains a fan favourite in the paddock, another sport, padel is also slowing taking over. Together with many drivers, including Max Verstappen, Fernando Alonso and Pierre Gasly, Norris enjoys playing it as well. The new season of Drive to Survive also shows how, even in Singapore, drivers still manage to find each other for a game of padel between sessions.
