Williams' meeting with the Stewards overseeing the Chinese Grand Prix has been deferred until Saturday morning at 08:30 local time.

Williams Racing is currently under investigation over an alleged breach of articles 3.2.2 and 3.15.16 of the Formula One Technical Regulations after they failed to submit video footage of their rear wing, a measure implemented by the FIA in a bid to maintain a stricter control in the controversial mini-DRS effect, where teams take advantage of the flexibility of their rear wing under load at full speed to gain a sporting advantage.

The team led by James Vowles did not provide with the aforementioned footage within the specified time -within the hour following completion of FP1- which prompted the FIA to report the matter to the Stewarding body, which in turn decided to investigate the incident.

The Stewards have now stated in document 31 of the Chinese Grand Prix that: "The team representative is required to report to the Stewards at 08:30 on Saturday 22 Mrch 2025 in relation to the incident."

"Alleged breaches of Articles 3.2.2 and 3.15.16 of the Formula One Technical Regulations - failure to provide the video files recorded by the wireless forward and rearward facing cameras in the specified timescale," reads the Stewards' document.

This could impact Williams' sprint results tomorrow, as potential sporting penalties may be handed out to Alexander Albon and Carlos Sainz who are set to start the short morning race in P9 and P13 respectively, should the Grove-based team be indeed found guilty of breaching F1's Technical Regulations.
