In a shocking change to the race results, two drivers have been disqualified over technical infringements. Another driver, Lewis Hamilton, has also been disqualified over a different kind of technical infringement.

The decision is in: Charles Leclerc and Pierre Gasly have been disqualified from the Chinese Grand Prix after their cars did not meet the minimum weight requirement. Leclerc, who drove with a broken front wing the entire race, and Gasly both weighed 799.0 kg, 1 kg under the limit.

Where Leclerc and Gasly stand now

After being disqualified, Leclerc lost his 5th-place win and the 10 points he gained from the Chinese Grand Prix. He now sits in 10th place in the world drivers' championship standings.

Gasly now sits down in 15th with no points at all.

The double disqualification is devastating for Ferrari, as they will now lose precious positions in the constructor's championship.
