Max Verstappen has released a new special helmet design for next week's Japanese Grand Prix, with the Dutchman introducing the new helmet to his fans.

Max Verstappen will be hunting for his first win of this season in Suzuka next week. However, he will have to do so with a different teammate, as it was officially announced this morning that Liam Lawson will be replaced by Yuki Tsunoda from the Japanese Grand Prix onward.

For the third race of the season, the Dutchman will be racing in a special helmet for the weekend in Japan, which he introduced on social media for next weekends Grand Prix.

An ode to Japan from Verstappen

The helmet design is one totally dedicated to the 'Land of the Rising Sun', with the colours of the Japanese flag, red and white, making up the design of the helmet, along with signature blossoms of Japan on the back.

Besides the helmet, Verstappen has also added a cap, jersey, bucket hat and t-shirt to the collection. The jersey has the signature lion on the front, and the back features a cheering Verstappen.
