Ferrari unsure of Bahrain issues after losing certain victory to Mercedes

Ferrari does not know the issue that denied Charles Leclerc his first race win in Formula 1 having dominated the Bahrain Grand Prix until the final stages.
With Leclerc leading comfortably from Lewis Hamilton, the Monegasque driver reported a sizable loss of power over team radio that left him helpless in defending from both Mercedes drivers.
Having been leading with a comfy 10-second gap to Hamiton, the Ferrari driver slowed with an issue that is as of yet undiagnosed by the Italian team according to team principal Mattia Binotto.
"We need to now look at the engine, the car, the data. We don't have a clear indication yet, it's too early so we'll check later on. It's good that we finished that race in third place, points that will count," Binotto told Sky Sports F1 after the race.
"We got the fastest lap of the race too, thanks to Charles. He did a great race, it's obviously disappointing but we need to look at the positives from the weekend and come back again stronger.
"I think we had a good car this weekend. We can count on our two drivers, obviously it was not a great race for Seb as well, he was second when he made the mistake but he can still deliver."
