Stroll hopeful of Williams fightback soon

Lance Stroll says he is hopeful of a revival in fortunes for Williams.
The Canadian left the British team in 2019 to drive for Racing Point after his father Lawrence Stroll led a consortium in saving the team from administration.
Although the team stole a march on the field at the beginning of the hybrid era in 2014 with its low drag design and Mercedes power unit, it has fallen from grace and sits last with zero points in 2019 so far.
Speaking to La Presse, Stroll admitted that he was rooting for the team to fightback from its predicament and fight its way back to competing in Formula 1.
"It's difficult for them. I spent two seasons there. F1 is a very difficult environment. All the pieces have to work together for the results to be there and sometimes it only takes one bad decision for everything to fall apart.
"It's a bit like what happened there, although I can't really say more. It's definitely a shame for them. Williams has been a great team and I hope they will soon come out of this bad patch.
