Mick Schumacher to drive father's Ferrari car at German GP
Mick Schumacher will drive his father's 2004 world championship winning Ferrari car at the German Grand Prix. Michael Schumacher, who won his seventh and final world championship in 2004, won the German race 15 years ago.
Schumacher junior might be struggling in Formula 2, but he's had the chance to drive a few Formula 1 cars this season. So far, he's tested the current Ferrari car and he also drove his father's Benetton around Spa-Francorchamps.
Mick will step into his father's champion car for a show run prior to the German Grand Prix at the Hockenheimring. The German does have a race that weekend since Formula 2 does not visit the Hockenheimring.
