Ricciardo wants Renault to replicate McLaren's package

Renault driver Daniel Ricciardo wants his team to try and copy McLaren's engine package this season to try and replicate the form of the British team so far this term.
Renault suffered a very underwhelming start to the season, but in Monaco and Canada - Ricciardo enjoyed successive top 10 finishes - but has now failed to score in the previous two grands prix.
McLaren's form has been superb recently and they are in P4 in the constructors' championship - boasting the 'Best of the Rest' status - that, of course, Renault held last season.
"We have had a good run so I don't want to let (Austria) dictate the whole start of the season - we had some momentum, so I want to find it (again) for Silverstone," the Aussie driver said.
"Looking at the McLarens they certainly are the benchmark now and they have really come on, and they are the ones with that kind of package that we are looking for.
"It seems that they are able to run more downforce and more effectively, so they can run higher downforce yet lose less in the straights. Our package when we do run more, we don't seem to be able to use it well.
"That is something. Whether that goes back to correlation in the wind tunnel, all these things, all that is going to be addressed and we will try to figure it out."
