Raikkonen: "We need to do a perfect job"
Kimi Raikkonen seems quietly confident ahead of this weekend's British Grand Prix, with his Alfa Romeo team back on form after a bit of a wobble in recent weeks.
The Iceman had gone three races without scoring before returning to the top ten in France and Austria, even running in P4 in the early laps at the Red Bull Ring.
Following Antonio Giovinazzi's improvements, the team are looking stronger in the constructors' standings, and are hunting down Renault in P5.
Silverstone is a good opportunity for the team to score yet more points, and Raikkonen said: “Silverstone is always a good place to come back to. It’s an old-school track and it’s quite fun to drive, especially in the fast corners."
"As a team, we have shown improvement in the last couple of races and I think Britain is another place where we can do well.
"As always, we will need to do a perfect job because the margins are very small between teams, but I am confident we can have another good result.”
