Valtteri Bottas: "I've been missing the feeling of being on pole"
Valtteri Bottas put on an impressive display to claim pole position at the British Grand Prix. The Finn says that he has "missed the feeling" of being on top and will hope that his pace continues for the race tomorrow.
"It felt really good," Bottas said the Official F1 Website. "I've been missing the feeling of being on pole and it was a good performance. Especially on a track like this where Lewis has been so difficult to beat. It felt really good."
Bottas expects that most of the competition during the race will come from his teammate, Lewis Hamilton, but also knows that the Ferrari's will be fast off the start.
"I'm sure they will be a threat tomorrow, especially at the beginning of the race. We are starting on the medium which I think will be better. I'm sure I'll have a good fight with Lewis and maybe also with the Ferrari's."
Bottas has looked like a different driver so far this season and will hope to confirm this with a race win at tomorrows British Grand Prix.
