Hamilton "always down for a fight" after disappointing qualifying!
Championship leader Lewis Hamilton says that he is ready to fight on the way down to turn one after only managing third place in qualifying for Sunday's Hungarian Grand Prix.
Red Bull's Max Verstappen took his first pole position to become the 100th pole sitter in F1 history with a stunning lap, ahead of Valtteri Bottas, who will join him on the front row.
Hamilton will have been disappointed with his lap after looking the faster of the Mercedes throughout the weekend, and after the session he told Sky Sports F1's Paul di Resta: "Naturally, you're always going to be targeting first, but Max did a great job and so did Valtteri, and it kind of got away from me a little bit in qualifying but I'm still in a good position to fight for the win.
"I'm always down for a fight. There's a long way down to Turn One so it should be interesting. Hopefully we can give them a run for their money."
