Max Verstappen will start the Hungarian Grand Prix from pole position! He will become the 100th different Formula 1 driver to start an F1 race from pole position after claiming to the top spot by just 0.018 seconds! Valtteri Bottas will be breathing down his neck from second place and the Formula 1 world championship leader starts from 3rd.

Both Antonio Giovinazzi and Daniel Ricciardo have picked up penalties and have therefore moved backwards since their qualifying performance on Saturday.

The first corner should be an exciting occasion with Verstappen, Bottas and Hamilton all fighting for the lead. The Red Bull driver has struggled with his starts over the last three Grands Prix, something he'll need to fix today.

The two Ferrari drivers will line-up further down after more troubles on a Saturday. Pierre Gasly rounds out the top six, with Lando Norris starting in the 'best of the rest' position.
