Carlos Sainz reveals "the best" is yet to come at McLaren

Carlos Sainz beleives that he's still yet to show his full potential with McLaren, despite showing strong form for the first half of the season with the British team.
Sainz, moved to McLaren at the start of this season following just over a year with Renault.
He has enjoyed a largely successful season to date, standing 7th in the current standings, 5 points behind Pierre Gasly.
The Spaniard has settled in well to the new team after twelve Grand Prix’s and will be looking to further this after the summer break.
Sainz, feels that his performance can still improve, while he is still settling in and getting to know the team and the car.
" I begin to get to know the car quite well, but I still have the feeling of having a lot more room for improvement , as well as the car Sainz, told Motorsport.com
"I myself am setting the car a little more to my liking “.
He added: "We are still trying many things every Friday, just to see which way I like it, but it's a slow process. What I mean is that it's a matter of years.
"The more you are in a team, the more you learn about the car and the team, about people, about how to extract more from each one.
I imagine it is like in any other job in the world “.
