Breaking: Kimi Raikkonen to start from the pits, Perez 18th after engine changes!
Kimi Raikkonen will start today's Italian Grand Prix from the pits after he decided to take a new Ferrari engine following yesterday's crash during Q3.
The Finn crashed during the final session of qualifying on Saturday and was the only driver of the top ten not involved in the farcial scenes at the end of Q3. Alfa Romeo have decided to give Raikkonen a new Ferrari power unit and he will consequently start at the back of the grid. The Alfa Romeo driver will also take a new gearbox.
Sergio Perez will also take a new Mercedes engine after his gave way during Q1. The Mexican was forced to pull to the side of the track towards the end of the opening session of qualifying and as a result, will take a new engine. He'll start 18th on the grid, ahead of Max Verstappen.
