Raikkonen not happy with "sh** weekend"
Kimi Raikkonen has described his Italian Grand Prix weekend as "sh**" as he crashed out of qualifying and suffered a very tough race at Monza.
Raikkonen crashed heavily at Parabolica at the end of Q2, forcing him to start from the pitlane.
He was penalised during the race for starting on incorrect tyres, as he began the race on mediums from the pitlane and not the soft tyres that saw him through to Q3, even though he didn't take part in the session due to the crash.
He said in Alfa Romeo's post-race press release: "Well that was a sh** weekend. First my mistake in qualifying which unfortunately meant that we had to change gearbox.
"Then we decided to also change engine and start from the pitlane, but we had the wrong tyres on and with the penalty my race was more or less over. Looking forward to Singapore, as it can't get worse."
