Charles Leclerc turns 22: An old head on young shoulders
Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc will be celebrating his 22nd birthday today. The man from Monaco has been in the spotlight over recent weeks with the politics between himself and teammate Sebastian Vettel, and his ever-growing rivalry with Max Verstappen.
Happy Birthday Charles Leclerc
Leclerc, who is the youngest Ferrari Grand Prix winner, has lifted hopes of a World Championship victory for Ferrari in future years has performed consistently and confidently during his first year at the Italian team.
Often, Leclerc has demonstrated a mature mindset during interviews with the media and the politics between himself and Vettel. Though at the most recent Grand Prix in Japan, he refused to pit when he had debris flying off his car. Though that might have been Ferrari's fault as it would have been tough for Leclerc to see his front wing.
Vettel is starting to regain his world championship-winning form and 2020 promises to be an interesting season for those wearing red. Ferrari have wished their youngest driver for 50 years a very happy birthday in this social media post.
