Wolff expects Mexico to be the toughest weekend left in the season for Mercedes
- Tom Mason
Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff believes that this weekend in Mexico will be the most challenging for his team in the remainder of the season. There are just four races left to go now and have already secured the constructors' championship, Lewis Hamilton can complete the drivers' championship victory.
"The four remaining races this season are not going to be easy for us, and we expect Mexico to be the most difficult of those four," Wolff said.
"The elevated position of this circuit poses a number of rather unusual challenges because of the thin air influences the aerodynamics of the car, the cooling and the performance of the engine.
"It is a combination that our car is not exactly about, but we will do everything we can to limit the damage."
Max Verstappen has won in Mexico in the last two years and it wouldn't shock Wolff to see something similar happen again.
