Verstappen: "The season remains positive, I think it is a good base for the next"
Max Verstappen will be targeting a fourth race win when the season concludes in Abu Dhabi this weekend, and although it has been an impressive debut season for the Red Bull-Honda partnership the Dutchman still wants more.
Verstappen has stood on top of the podium on three occasions this season. He won Red Bull's home race in Austria before winning a chaotic German Grand Prix two Grands Prix later. He won the penultimate race of the season at Interlagos moving him to third in the Drivers' Championship.
It has been a satisfying season for Honda and Red Bull and they'll be targeting much more in the seasons to come.
"We have got good things, the reliability of Honda has been comforting, but we want more," Verstappen said.
"The season remains positive, I think it is a good base for the next few years, we have learned a lot and I think we are in a position to start 2020 on the right foot.
"But I think it depends a lot on the set-up: in the last few races the three top teams were very close to each other."
