View: Caterham F1 factory lies in ruin just five years after final Formula 1 race
Pictures have surfaced of the current status inside Caterham's old Formula 1 factory. Just five years on from their final race, the abandoned building lies in ruins with graffiti on the walls to top things off. The building has been up for sale since the team entered administration.
Caterham entered the sport at the start of the 2012 Formula 1 season. The team previously raced under the name of Lotus who were based in Hingham, Norfolk. For the 2012 season, the team relocated to the now-defunct Leafield Technical Centre.
The building was previously used as a radio transmission station before becoming a motorsport development centre for Arrows Formula 1 team and the Super Aguri F1.
