Red Bull Racing has once again managed to catch a young talent. This time it's Marcel Kiefer, a German eSporter. Kiefer is a well known name in the world of eSports and will thus be able to defend the colours of the Austrian race stable in 2020.
Kiefer participated in the official Formula 1 eSports season in 2018 and 2019. There he finished fifth and sixth in the final results, respectively. The 21-year-old won his first Grand Prix last season by finishing first during the British GP at Silverstone. This put Kiefer in the spotlight at Red Bull.
“It’s a huge pleasure for me to join the reigning F1 Esports World Champions. The Team’s on and off-track performance is outstanding in both the real and the virtual world, which makes me really proud to represent this prestigious Team", says Kiefer through the official channels of his new employer.

The young talent has high expectations for the coming season. “Last season I showed that I have the ability to win and I’m confident that I’ll be able to unlock my full potential within the Red Bull family. The Team has always seemed very welcoming, which made the decision easier for me", adds Kiefer.
