Lando Norris will have to shave his hair off soon. That's the result of a promise the British made with his followers. However, it is for a good cause, since the McLaren was able to raise more than $12,000 for charity.
During a live event Twitch Stream Aid, Norris and some other well-known people collected as much money as possible for the fight against the coronavirus. In total, more than 2.2 million dollars is raised for the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund of the World Health Organization.
During his own stream, Norris wanted to go for a fun stunt and called on people to donate more than $10,000 on his own stream. If that amount would be reached, Norris solemnly promised to shave off his hair. An unknown person finally brought the verdict, with a donation of $ 700 Norris came to the amount of $ 10,000.
Norris has to shave his hair
"Does this mean I'm over it? No, we just got 10k. RIP hair...'', Norris was laughing about the stream. In the end, Norris himself got over $12,000. ''I'd like to thank all the followers for their tremendous support and contribution to the fight against the coronavirus. However, I now have to shave my hair'', said Norris who, of course, got a reaction from colleague Carlos Sainz: ''Oh boy, am I ready for this.''
A huge thank you to everyone who tuned in last night and donated towards #TwitchStreamAid, and the fight against COVID-19. Over $12,000 was raised in total!
