It is still the question when and how Formula 1 will start again, but perhaps this gives a small indication. For the World Championship karting, the FIA has presented a new calendar.

In Formula 1, of course, there are slightly more interests at stake and there must be consultation with larger organizers, teams and promoters. Because of this it takes a bit longer to reschedule a big event like a Grand Prix, but the FIA for the World Championship karting has succeeded.

Only start in September

Where the various races would start in May, the FIA Karting European Championship has now moved to the start of September. First, between September 3 and 6, there will be racing in Genk (Belgium) and one week later in Wackersdorf (Germany). One month later the championship will resume with the FIA Karting Historic Super Cup from October 1 to 4 in Lonato (Italy).

The FIA Karting World Championship, which will be held in Birigui (Brazil), has been moved to early November and will now be held in Portimao (Portugal). It remains to be seen whether F1 will have a similar starting date. For the time being, the organization seems to be aiming for a start in July.
