Leclerc: "Gasly at Ferrari would be great"

Charles Leclerc is eagerly awaiting his teammate at Ferrari. Will Sebastian Vettel stick around for another year or will the four-time world champion be replaced. For the time being nothing is known. The choice of the Monegask lies remarkably with Pierre Gasly.
Pierre Gasly showed at Red Bull Racing in 2019 that he was not yet ready for the big teams in the royal class of motor racing. Nevertheless, Leclerc believes it would be nice to have him as a teammate at Ferrari.
To the French L'Equipe the Ferrari driver proclaims: "With Pierre in the team, that would be great! We have been in the same team before in the karting period. To be teammates again would be cool".

In the end, it's not Leclerc who chooses. So says the Monegask: "They haven't asked me yet, but if I make a suggestion the team has to agree in the end. Otherwise, of course, the kite won't fly."
Leclerc concludes: "I will respect Ferrari's decision about my new teammate and I will be happy no matter which teammate they arrive with".
