Norris and Sainz don't have to worry. "Will be pretty easy."

Due to the corona crisis, this year less than one meter has been driven in a Formula 1 car. It remains to be seen when the car will be driven and until when the season will end. That can cause problems with expiring contracts, like at McLaren, but according to Andreas Seidl that will be fine.
Lando Norris and Carlos Sainz both have expiring contracts. At the end of this year they will be able to go wherever they want while in the worst case scenario no meter has been driven. Not ideal but Andres Seidl doesn't see it as a big problem.
"Finding a solution for the expiring contracts is quick, I think, because everyone has to deal with the same thing. Of course we would have preferred to see Carlos and Lando in action for a couple of races to talk about their future, but that's not really an issue now", said the team boss of McLaren opposite Motorsport.

The English team has already indicated that they would like to continue with Sainz so they'll find out. Also Lando Norris has had a great debut year so the expectation is that he too can count on a longer stay. Moreover, the teammates get along well with each other.
