Christian Horner, the team boss of Red Bull Racing, complimented the entire staff of the race stable. The Brit called the work that has been and continues to be "a phenomenal effort". However, the teamboss warned about the increasing workload if too many races are planned in a short period of time.

2020 has so far been a tormenting year for the lover of live sports. Due to the coronavirus, almost after the winter break there is little broadcasting in all sports. For all people involved in Formula 1 this will, according to Horner, make for a very busy year. The teams have worked hard during the preparations for March. Now, halfway through the year, they will have to do everything they can to finish a race-packed season in a short period of time.

In conversation with Motorsport.com on Motorsport TV Horner explains the situation: "We must continue to take good care of our staff. We can't burn them out and send them all over the world at breakneck speed to work 18 races".

Silence before the storm

Horner continues: "At the moment, everyone is home and resting.  They are waiting until we can race again. They need that rest because it's going to be an intense time between July and the end of the year".

The team boss takes the situation very seriously and foresees a lot of hectic situations and chaos within the teams. Triple-headers are a sure thing, says the Brit, and those are demanding weeks for teams and staff. The quadruple-headers, on the other hand, Horner doesn't see happening so fast.

"I don't really think that's likely, but they [FIA, FOM and Liberty Media, ed.] have to get the calendar clear. Their ambition is to organize between fifteen and eighteen races, which seems rather optimistic to me. Nevertheless, it is important that goals are set".
