Briatore knows for sure: ''Alonso is motivated and ready for a return''

Fernando Alonso, according to rumors, is in the interest of Renault to accommodate the departure of Daniel Ricciardo and the rumors now seem to be confirmed by the manager of Alonso, Flavio Briatore.
Since 2001 the flamboyant Briatore has been the manager of Alonso and brought the Spaniard to Renault in Formula 1. Now that in 2021 Alonso has the chance to return to Formula 1, Briatore does not hide his opinion. Alonso must and will return to the royal class in Formula 1.
The return of Alonso
''There is of course still a whole season to drive, but Fernando is motivated and ready to return to Formula 1. We hope that this will be possible, but we must have kept an eye on the development of the coronavirus'', says Briatore in conversation with La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Where Briatore has hope for his pupil, he is a lot less positive about the future of Sebastian Vettel. ''In all honesty that decision of Ferrari has surprised me. You still have a whole year to drive and then you already make that choice. For Vettel I see it gloomy, because a Mercedes is not going to make room for him now that everything runs so smoothly'', the Italian concludes.
