Wolff supports Hamilton: ''It's very hard to understand how difficult that is''

Lewis Hamilton has made an impression in the past week with his message about George Floyd. The death of the African-American seized Hamilton, who called out his colleagues in Formula 1 for the lack of support.
Praise to Hamilton
''We already knew that Hamilton is a great supporter of the world's minorities and frankly, I learned a lot from that. I think it is very difficult for us to understand how difficult this situation is for them and I'm happy that Hamilton has expressed itself in this way as an ambassador of the sport," said Toto Wolff to Racefans.net at a press event among others.
''We all have the power to change things and sometimes these moments are necessary to get a big support for a minority. As a team we only encourage the role that Hamilton represents in this. Together we can change things and everyone has a part to play in that''.
Karting
One part Lewis always cares about is the price of karting. Now children have to put down tons to practice at all to ever get into Formula 1, so the sport is filled more by rich kids than talented kids. Wolff supports Hamilton in his findings.
''Most children start karting early, but of course it's ridiculous that you have to pay £100,000 to get a child to compete in a championship. Parents normally can't pay that and I think it's important that we develop something new for that so that every child has the chance to reach F1'', concludes Wolff.
